Julia’s fascination for biochar application in industrial context has not only led her to found her own business Carbon Instead, but also to engage in strong collaborations with other partners in the field. At the conference in Nantes she is representing CarStorCon® Technologies and their decarbonization strategy for concrete through biochar. After a successful pilot phase, CarStorCon® is now scaling and realizing climate concrete projects in German speaking markets and beyond. Julia is driving material innovation, leading research projects together with Fraunhofer IBP on input streams and application methods, combining her strong project management skills with her curiosity for R&D and new technologies.
