Franklin is Senior Policy Manager at CO2 Value Europe, which he joined in October 2023.
Focusing on European energy and climate policies, his work is instrumental to drive the policy
& advocacy activities of the Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) community in Europe,
including by screening EU policies, drafting positions and strategies, and representing the CCU
value chain towards policy-makers & EU stakeholders.
Prior to joining CO2 Value Europe, he worked for a French public RTO where he approached
CCU from a policy angle focusing in particular on its energy sources (low carbon energies) and
industrial applications (e-fuels and chemicals), and for the European joint undertaking for
nuclear fusion.
He holds a Master’s degree in European Policy and Governance Study from the College of
Europe (Belgium) and a Master’s degree in Management from IESEG School of Management
(France). In addition to his native French, Franklin is also fluent in English and Spanish.
